Palmetto
Bluff Resort in Bluffton, South Carolina - A
Lost Low Country Paradise
by Bob
Pardue
Just returned from a stock
photo assignment in Bluffton, South Carolina and
couldn't wait to share this photo and story with
you!
Situated between the
bustling cities of Charleston and Savannah,
Bluffton, SC is an (almost) undiscovered
paradise.
The place in particular
mentioned here is a community called Palmetto
Bluff Resort.
With gigantic and very old
oak trees draped in Spanish moss surrounding
Palmetto Bluff these bike riders seem to be in
heaven.
The weather was very
pleasant the day we were there and was
especially nice under the shade of the oak
trees.
The resort has a beautiful
hotel called the Palmetto Bluff Inn and an
unusual old church with the arched window in
back looking out at the palmetto trees and the
bay. What a view!!
If you get the chance,
visit Palmetto Bluff, SC while in the Charleston
or Savannah areas. The trip is fairly short from
either town and I believe you will enjoy your
visit.
